The Kavinika are vicious wolf-like Rahi.
History[]
The Kavinika are one of the many species to be created by the Brotherhood of Makuta using viruses and Energized Protodermis to populate the Matoran Universe.
A population of Kavinika established in Po-Metru, though this Rahi were later driven out. The Kavinika migrated to Ga-Metru, where the Ga-Matoran used them as guards. The Kavinika soon became a problem, as they started to attack the Matoran. The Ga-Matoran tried to use the Hapaka to drive the Kavinika out of the schools, though the results weren’t fully satisfactory. The Rahaga though that the Kavinika had came in contact with some leaked substance from a damaged Ga-Metru lab that was causing them to duplicate.
After the Great Cataclysm, some Kavinika migrated to the island of Mata Nui when escaping from the Visorak, who were invading Metru Nui.
Mata Nui's population of Kavinika was forced to migrate back to Metru Nui after the Toa Nuva unleashed the Bohrok Swarms on the island. The Kavinika succesfully arrived to the Matoran Universe, where they resided for some time.
After Teridax was killed by a fragment of Aqua Magna, the Kavinika and the other Rahi will have to join the mass exodus to Spherus Magna to escape the Matoran Universe before it finally breaks down in order to survive.

The Kavinika model could be built using pieces from the Vhisola, Ehrye and Tehutti sets. The instructions were divided between each set instruction booklet.

The Kavinika have sharp teeth and claws, which they use to climb buildings.
