The Prototype Great Spirit Robot was the Prototype for the Matoran Universe.
History[]
Creation[]
The Prototype Robot was designed by the Great Beings as an early attempt to create the Matoran Universe. However, due to an error in the system, the Robot became unstable and resulted in it exploding. Due to this, the Prototype Robot was damaged and parts of it were thrown across Spherus Magna. The parts stayed in their positions during the Core War and were forgotten about.
Bara Magna[]
Following The Shattering, the Agori and Glatorian masses were forced to take shelter in their own seperate villages. In search of shelter, they each took residence near a part of the robot.
One year ago, as the Skrall migrated south, they took residence in the head-piece of the Prototype Robot.
However, following Mata Nui being exiled to Bara Magna, he played a significant part in the Battle of Roxtus and managed to help overwhelm the Skrall forces. With Roxtus' residents scattered, the Agori were able to use it to assemble to one 'Mega Village', which they elected Raanu the leader of.
The Prototype Robot fused into the United Agori village
The Agori temporarily lived there; sharing their resources, and the Glatorian started to defend the city. However, when Mata Nui returned from his journey to the Valley of the Maze at the Black Spike Mountains, he stated that he needed to use the Prototype Robot to reform Spherus Magna. Raanu would not allow this as it was the only home left for the Agori and, if he failed and it exloded again, it he would kill most of the Agori. However, Mata Nui was able to persuade him by stating that the Matoran Universe was under the control of Makuta Teridax and that the Matoran needed to be freed. Raanu then evacuated the Agori and allowed Mata Nui to use the Power Source he had found in the Valley of the Maze.
Once Mata Nui had obtained full control of it, he started to reverse the effects of the Shattering by pulling Aqua Magna and Bota Magna closer to Bara Magna by using the Robot's Gravity Powers.
As a result of Aqua Magna moving, Teridax sensed him as a threat and travelled to Bara Magna before Mata Nui could completely reform the planet.
Battle of Bara Magna[]
As the Matoran Universe landed on Bara Magna, Teridax issued an order for his armies to be mobilized and moved to the Southern Island Chain, where the armies of Rahkshi and Skakdi were able to emerge onto Bara Magna and attack the inhabitants when Glatorian Gresh accidentally opened the trap door.
The Skakdi and Rahkshi declared war on the Glatorian and a battle broke out. As the inhabitants of the two worlds battled, Teridax and Mata Nui had their own skirmish above them.
